This first program brings together four award-winning films from the 2025 Chicago Underground Film Festival, spanning speculative fiction, archival excavation, political documentary, and hybrid nonfiction. Collectively, these works examine labor, memory, disappearance, and resistance, using cinema as a tool for cultural inquiry and historical recovery.
The in-person screening will take place at FACETS in Chicago on Friday, Mar. 6 at 7pm. Tickets are available at the link below, and members of The Underground enjoy a ticket on us. (A virtual version of the program will also be available exclusively for members of The Underground .)
